Windpower Systems
For homes and businesses, on acreage in fairly windy areas, wind power is a great sustainable energy source. Cromwell Environmental is experienced in wind power systems including the popular Skystream 3.8 and Air-X from Southwest Windpower and the XL1 wind turbines from Bergey. Wind power can be used in off grid or grid-tied (with or without battery backup) applications and combines great with other sustainable energy systems. In fact, due to our broad expertise in sustainable energy, our typical wind systems have been hybrid; including photovoltaic and/or solar hot water.
Properly installed, today’s wind turbines are quiet, safe, and produce reliable clean energy for years without maintenance. Cromwell Environmental installs small wind power systems (like the Skystream 3.8) at homes, farms, businesses, and schools in Kansas, Missouri, Colorado, Illinois, and New Mexico.
